Deluxe Heavy Club Flex Pad Chess Set Combo

Amazing for tournament play and home play, portable and casual.

Wonderful set! Great quality, easy to carry around, nice weighted pieces.

WOW, love it, quality excided my expectations. If your looking for a regulation set; try this.

My son just picked up chess this year. We go to a lot of places to play others. This set is perfect for traveling and getting prepared for tournaments. Customer service was awesome. Helped me with my questions and let me pick it up in lynden instead of waiting for the mail.

Simple, basic, and practical. Nothing flashy. Nice heavy pieces. Exactly what I needed.....

My blue bag of chess pieces had one pawn that had a broken top. The rest of the pieces were fine.
I purchased many sets, boards, and traveling bags. I'm happy with the rest of my purchase.
I assumed the bag was dropped, and the pawn broke without anyone being aware of it, which is reasonable to assume.

I was happy to get this set and will present it to our middle school administrator as a potential school chess club setup. Other than 1 white pawn that the weight and felt weren't on this set had a great look and feel to it. My 17 year old grandson checked it over with me and we had a few minor pros and cons we discussed. And I'll share them with the administrator at the school. We both liked the floppy pad board for sure. I liked the weight and style of the pieces.

As expected! Good weight and no damage

The package didn’t show up. The UPS delivery says it was delivered to “locker”. We don’t have lockers that I know of. I hope to hear from someone or will have to chargeback

I bought 4 chess kits for a chess class at my local grade school. The products were affordable and good quality. There was a miss ship on the clocks. But chess house corrected the issue right away and got the order fulfilled properly. I am very happy with my order.

Wow! I was not expecting this! The pieces, the flex board and the case are of high quality and the weighted pieces feel so right! This is my first Flex board so I had no idea what I was getting. I was expecting a better version of the old plastic type and was hesitant to order this. I’m glad I went for it. A total surprise and very impressed!
A quick rundown:
The Board - Amazing! This board lays flat every time. No curls or creases, it just lays flat! You can fold it, roll it, or whatever and it goes back to laying flat.
The Pieces - Just right! I full time RV so space is precious. The board and Pieces fit perfectly on our RV table. The pieces are very nicely weighted, just the right size, and of high quality.
Storage - The case that came with the Deluxe version is unbeatable. Finally, a case that doesn’t require you to know Tetris to get everything back into the bag. Plenty of room for pieces, Flex board, clock and then some and comes with carrying handles and a carry strap.
Cost - Simple - Very reasonable cost and well worth the money.
Overall: High quality weighted plastic pieces, easy and cooperative Flex board, great carrying case with room for a clock or other storage and very portable. Highly recommended for analysis, casual play, and portability. I would definitely buy again!!!

Everything was great and in order - I would definitely order again!

Its far better than expected. Well worth it for any enthusiast excited to play or analyze any game with. There is so much more value and quality in purchasing this set than just some chess set at a general store.

Came as described. Nice quality product. Prompt shipping! Thanks!

Excellent set!!’ My son loves it!!

I am very impressed with everything about this quality chess set - the amply weighted pieces are beautiful and classic in size and appearance, suitable for casual play or tournaments. It comes with a good quality mat which rolls out smoothly. The extra queens are a plus , and the carry bag very well made . The price is reasonable too . It arrived in a timely manner . I couldn’t be more pleased !

Deluxe Heavy Club Flex Pad Chess Set Combo

This is the first set I’ve owned since the cheap sets of my childhood. I wanted something good quality, compact, and easy to stash away. This set meets all those criteria. I’ve played several games now. The pieces feel great, and I appreciate how unfussy the board is. You can roll it up, or fold it and it still lays flat. Nice!

Shipping was very fast and I was impressed by the pieces size and weight. They felt like quality and the flex pad was perfect for my needs.

Flex pad always lays flat and doesn't slide around, and the pieces and hard as a rock and feel substantial in weight. Perfect for use at my local chess club! I can't recommend it enough, for home play or tournament/club play!

Bought as a gift, they really liked the heavy pieces.

They're a great weight and the plastic feels fantastic.

This is my first tournament set, but I did quite a bit of research online because I wanted something I wouldn't need to eventually replace.

The pieces all feel sturdy and comfortable to move. Board is thick and perfectly flat. Doesn't slide, due to the mouse pad texture underneath. The bag is made well and has everything you need: three zip pockets; two for pieces, one for a clock (still need to buy one). There's also a big pocket for extra storage, and space to put plastic cards. Haven't used the strap, but I don't think it's necessary unless you're walking a very long distance. Absolutely perfect for traveling.

The only downside I can think of is that sometimes the pieces don't slide perfectly when pushing them across the board, but maybe with time it will become easier with wear. This isn't enough to knock anything off the score though, and stands as a very minor complaint. It could also be due to my inexperience over the board.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality of all three items. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Thank you Chess House for a speedy delivery and excellent products!
