Quality Regulation Chess Set

I got exactly what I expected out of this set. Quality plastic pieces and a durable mat.

I ordered this wanting a simple, but nice set to teach my wife how to play. It blew away my expectations for the price. Once my wife loves the game, so far so good, might get one of your marble sets! Thank you for the quick delivery, especially during these crazy times.

The set was really nice. The price was fantastic. Shipping was great!

Just what I wanted!

I purchased these for my chess club at an elementary campus! The students are excited to get to use them next year.

The Chess set is a very good quality great set, the board is 21x21 and heavy which was a surprise for the price, The size of the pieces are exactly as described, the weight is a little liter than I would have expected. all in all well worth the price.

Backstory.. I bought a chess set and board combo from another seller about five years ago give or take. It cost me $15-20$ for the pieces. When I compare the weight of the chess house pieces to my other purchase the chesshouse pieces are much lighter and pleasurable to capture pieces with. I bought this set because of the caramel colored pieces and am happy with that. If the weight of the set was heavier I would give this a five star review.

Arrived quickly and in great shape. I like the pieces and the roll-up mat.

This size is nice, big, they are solid and look durable, even if they aren't weighted , Great for Chess Club, similar size and style to our other sets. Economical.

Nice big plastic pieces, felted but not weighted. Some flash left on the pieces, no big deal. Classic chess piece pattern. Good deal for the price.

High quality. Fast delivery. Very Affordable! Will be buying again.

Great product for the price!

Arrived very fast and in perfect condition. My grandkids will enjoy this set for sure.

I really love the chess set. It's bigger than the chess set I've been using for years, but I wanted something that is regulation standard to use for refresher lessons and that has labeling along the ranks and files for algebraic notation. The chess pieces are also bigger than my set, and it's been nice using bigger pieces. The pieces are well made for the price, it comes with an extra black and white queen, and the pieces have a good weight. Per other reviews, the board did have that new vinyl smell but it aired out within a few days. I highly recommend this set for studying/learning and getting used to playing with a regulation chess set.

Set is a good value for the expense. Pieces have mold lines and minor flashing that can be easily trimmed to make it nicer feeling and weight is ok. Wish they were heavier but at this price that’s not going to happen. Shipping was extremely fast and automated communications were excellent. This is a good company to do business with.

Please caution your customers to air out the board.
It off gases strongly and should be left in open ventilation for 24 hours.
Perhaps asking the mfr to identify the material vinyl is.
Thanks for consideration.

great quality! well made!

Very pleased with my purchase! New players learning their skills will enjoy this set. The pieces are large and well shaped. Regulation size printed board. Its a great chess set! Thanks Chess House!

We are very pleased with this set and Chess House! Nice quality pieces, decent price, and quickly shipped and received. I do wish it would have come with a travel/storage bag, but overall very satisfied!

This is a fantastic set as the pieces are indestructible, well-formed, and have a nice weight to them. Delivery was on time and the items arrived in perfect shape. My only complaint is that the play mat has a strong chemical order - so much so that we've had to put it outside in hopes that it out-gasses and stops reeking.

Good quality for the price , ChessHouse is great to deal wit!

Great for set for the family.

Exactly as advertised. Very happy with the purchase.

The order was delivered promptly and the set is of good quality. My grandson likes the weight of the pieces.

I thought it was a good value and I do like having larger pieces.

I asked for something and got exactly what I asked for. It was a bit larger than I expected, but that was even better.

At the last minute, I ordered a chest set as a present for my husband. Chesshouse delivered the set on the promised date. I ordered gifts from many different vendors in December; many of them did not deliver them on time. Kudos to Chesshouse! The 2020 holiday season made shipping quite a challenge.
My husband was pleased with the set. The pieces are easy to use, and we love the roll-up board.

The pieces are very nice to move around with as well as being very sturdy for hold.

Just what I expected good quality great customer service. Keep it up. I'd up the stars if there were more to add.

This product is higher quality than I expected! The pieces are plastic, but they are very solid, robust pieces. The board is a great size as well.

Bought this as a gift for my husband and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The vinyl doesn't seem cheap and looks like it will last a while. Great value for the price!
