Silicone Chess Set Combo

Love the unbreakable large size pieces. I do wish the bag was big enough to hold the rolled up board.

This merchant responds very well. The website says something like make a selection of the chessboard color. However, there was only one color available for the silicone board. I would do repeat business with this person for the sole fact that he seems very friendly.

I already had a silicone board with plastic pieces but it made sense to buy this combo due to the good price.
The board is excellent quality and can be folded up and taken anywhere. The pieces have more weight than I thought they would which is definitely a good thing. They don’t feel cheap at all and are stable on the board.
The silicone board and pieces are awesome for travel and playing anywhere without being worried about ruining a more expensive set. I’ve even used these in a pool and the board and pieces dry right off and go back in the bag. Would buy again!

The board, pieces, and bag (for the pieces) are all very high quality. When opening the set up, I was instantly impressed with the consistency of quality. I would highly recommend for any chess player and for those, like me, that obsessively need to wash things to keep skin oil off.

I will note that this silicone does attract dirt and dust. Make sure you clean it here and there. Minor gripe: the board should have come with it's own bag. Either way, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I really like the feel of the pieces, they're comfortable to hold and move. No worries about taking them outdoors.

If you are looking for a chess set you don’t have to worry about-this is it. Take these anywhere; camping, to the park , etc. and if they fall off the table or get dropped - no problem. No felt on the bottom of the pieces so I think they might be washable which could be useful these days. I purchased mine as part of a bag, board, set combo with no regrets.

The quality of the set is extremely good and the pieces are very stable. The customer service is outstanding. I will definitely be buying more chess equipment from Chess House.

I highly recommend the silicone set, especially for working with kids, who tend to drop pieces and chip them. The board is good, too, but I find I have a slight personal preference for ChessHouse's FlexPad board, not on the basis of quality but simply because I like the colors better. The silicone boards (and FlexPads) fold without creasing, which is great for carrying them in a backpack--there's no need for a special chess carrying bag if you have a backpack and a silicone set and either a silicone board or a FlexPad board (or several of them--I fit four sets and bags into my backpack with plenty of room for other things--chess clock, books, papers).
ChessHouse customer service has been great. I had an extra White bishop but a missing White pawn in one of the five sets I ordered, and ChessHouse quickly sent me a White pawn. Josh (I gather he runs ChessHouse) seems to really care about his customers' satisfaction.
Five stars.

I love it.

indestructible and a nice feel.

I thought the silicone pieces would be hard, but they're not; they're soft. Indestructible, yes.

Great Service!

After imediately finding out there was a misssing pawn from my new silicone chess set, Chess House sent one out right away. Set complete. Perfection at last.

I love the set except that the bag is not large enough to hold the pieces AND the folded mat. Everything should fit together. Thank you.

This product is perfect for young kids. It is easy to transport and my kids cannot break the pieces.
