Love the look and feel of the board. Very rich in look and well built. The pieces feel good and heavy. I am very happy with this purchase
Great service from ChessHouse. The board and pieces are gorgeous.
Looks amazing! I have had this set for almost a year now and I only ever had one problem. The wood on the top of the board started to warp so I emailed the company about it and they gave me a new one 100% free!
Very beautiful set! Extremely high quality makes playing with friends even more fun! The size of the pieces are very nice as well, if you’re a fan of a bigger style of chess sets than this is 100% a great option. I’ve already recommended it and sent links to a few friends. I recommend getting the carrying bag for it as well, I could fit my clock and pieces perfectly into it and it’s good so that I can keep the board in and keep it protected from scratches.
What a gorgeous set! Our board and pieces arrived quickly and the whole set couldn’t be more beautiful. We have only used it a couple of times so far but we love it!
The only bad thing was that the felt on my pon was off center I just took it off and reglued it but besides that great set!
This chess set is well made from nice wood. Mine is walnut and birch, such a nice contrast. The pieces are weighty and a pleasure to hold, with green felted bases. It’s well worth the price, a set to be passed down to the next generation.
The board and pieces are very good quality. I’m impressed with my order and shipping to PA,very pleased.
I love the walnut & bitch board with boxwood ebonized pieces. I believe it said they were triple weighted. The weight is perfect. They also included 2 bags for the pieces.
This was worthy the wait! My partner was very happy with this gift and it’s a beautiful addition to our home.
Price, delivery, customer service, quality, and enjoyment...all 5-star.

I was looking online for chess boards and wasn't satisfied with what I was finding from average retail. Then I came across this site. It was exactly the quality I was searching for. Excellent!
The pieces and board are of fine quality, and all parts showed up. The packaging was also quite good and kept all items in perfect condition.
Very pleased with my transaction.
I have no words. This chess set is immaculate for the price. This is my first real chess set aside from roll out tournament sets, and all I have to say is what a great purchase!
I cant express how impressed I am with this set and the service I received from chesshouse.live. They go above and beyond. They respond very fast and the packaging was great. I will continue to shop here for all of my chess gaming needs.
As for the set itself. I love the quality of the design and the board. This is my first "real" wooden quality chess set and if are searching for a nice wooden set for home, or for big final round chess tournament, this is the one to get.
The craftsmanship on this set is great. The pieces are very sturdy and weight of them is close to perfect. The only issue I had was that the white king cross has a slight defect (chip) but chesshouse.live was super quick to ship me a replacement. Best customer service!
I am super proud and excited. This is a must buy if you are searching for a nice quality wooden chess set. I would recommend you get the carrying bag to go with this set.
